Verahaus provides elegant, thoughtful engineering solutions that bring architectural visions to life. With a collaborative process and a clear commitment to design intent, the studio helps each project find structural solutions that feel seamless, purposeful, and beautifully integrated.

Sabrina Duk is the founding principal of Verahaus. She holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, with a concentration in Structural Engineering.

Sabrina began her career in Connecticut, working on residential, commercial, institutional, historic preservation, and timber-framing projects across New England. Her technical expertise later brought her to Northern California, where she earned her Professional Engineering license while working on mission-critical facilities and seismic retrofits throughout the West Coast. She returned to New England to focus on downtown rehabilitation, historic restoration, and industrial projects. Before launching Verahaus, she worked in Southeast Florida designing high-end mixed-use facilities and performing post-hurricane structural assessments. She now lives in Oregon and works on projects nationwide.

Drawing on a broad range of professional experience, Sabrina founded Verahaus Structural to elevate the client experience of working with a structural engineer. Guided by a Vitruvian perspective on the responsibilities of design professionals, she fosters a collaborative, hands-on approach to every project.

Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys gardening, watercolors, golfing and adventuring with her dogs. She also enjoys celebrating her Polish heritage and volunteering at community events.
